The ski resorts have closed their lifts and the snow has almost completely melted making way for green meadows and blossoming flowers. Another winter has been and gone, so I thought I’d take a look back at the highlights of from my favourite season.
The winter 2016/2017 season has had so many highlights on both a personal and on a professional level.
I’ve been witness to five beautiful winter weddings, each one so different from the other, with some the kindest couples who have become friends for life. I’ve photographed brides and grooms on skis, men in kilts, snowball fights and igloo nights.
A trip to the frozen arctic to Levi in Lapland brought with it the opportunity to experience husky sledding adventures, reindeer sleigh rides and northern lights.
And amidst all of that I even managed to fit in a few ski days too.
Thanks to everyone who has made winter 2016/17 unforgettable. Summer 2017 has a tough act to follow!
